Bulgarian association of Film Television and Radio scriptwriters BAFTRS unites professionals with the goal to support and nurture the highest possible quality of writing standard.
BAFTRS was created to hold and complete the following main goals:
- To observe the regulation system and protect the professional interests of it’s members
- To co-work with government and nongovernment organizations in order to reach and complete it’s long and short term goals
- To follow the tasks pointed by its members on gatherings
- To work for the elevation and maintenance of the prestige of the scriptwriters in Bulgaria and Bulgarians abroad
- To work in close partnership with the Federation of Scriptwriters of Europe FSE
- To present its members with professional information
The members of BAFTRS consider a goal each activity related to the promotion and nurturing the prestige of the scriptwriting profession; legal protection of the wrights of the scriptwriters in the process of working; support in the relations between scriptwriters and government and nongovernment organizations related to their work; initiating and organizing of events promotive of young scriptwriting talents and ctr.
